Filmmaker and art historian based in Spain.

The audiovisual language offers her the chance, through her most personal artistic expression, to explore themes such as identity, space and heritage. Issues that are based on a gaze that looks at the processes found in nature.

As a filmmaker, besides directing and scriptwriting, she works as a camera operator and editor on documentary, fiction, musical and corporate projects.

Sara Traba is part of the coordination of the Galician-Portuguese film festival Mulleres, Patrimonios, Sociedade.

Education:

2012 / Bachelor’s degree in Art History at the University of Santiago de Compostela with internships at the Universita degli studi di Perugia, the University of Havana and the Complutense University of Madrid.

2015 / Diploma in Cinematography by Bande A Part, Escola de Cinema de Barcelona.
